Besides, this one is a thousand feet away from the nest.

Couple of weeks ago, a soccer (football for you foreigners) game here in Vancouver was interrupted when a fledgeling eagle tried its wings and ended up doing a header onto the field. Wildlife people eventually got the bird back in the air.

I know of at least two nests within a ten minute walk of my apartment, and I live downtown. Eagles are not phased by much.
