A Dozen Young People Arrested
September 25, 2006Police are investigating an incident in Corner Brook on the weekend in which about 150 young people had gathered near the Captain Cook Monument. RNC say a number of the youths were operating and participating in a web site promoting a local “Fight Club.” People could log on to the website and place their name on a roster for upcoming fights. Spectators would then be charged a fee to watch the fight.
