OMG it’s so very ugly and tacky that I’m busting a gut. *rotflmao* Surely one could find an equivalent “thingee” at their local recycle that some mother-in-law cursed a new bride with.

I’ve been looking for a squid-related chandelier for years and haven’t found one. If they come up with regularity on the islands, buy one and hold it for me. I’m good for it.

All the pagans go on and on about pentacles, but you never hear them go on about tentacles, do you? And they’re twice as cool!

My Daughter’s in Vancouver at the moment. Are these things freely available there? I could ask her to bring me one back…

I want one too! Though strictly speaking it’s octopus-related …

However, this is totally squid-related, whatever it is…

She could go down to Prospect Point and fish one up herself. Drying it might be a problem, not to mention shipping it. BTW tell her to look me up: I’m great at giving tours.

Ah yes, the robot squid. There’s a video of it somewheres around this blog. Utter kewlness, but useless as a reading lamp, alas.
