technical difficulties: please do not adjust the ol’ raincoaster blog, please just learn to deal with it and move on

Sorry folks, our standard operating procedures here at the ol’ raincoaster blog, wherein our armies of tiny elf reporters surf the farthest tubes of the internets in search of edutainment of suitable refinement for your rarified sensibilities, have had something of a critical collapse in the past 24 hours.

Normal service will be restored shortly. Oh who am I kidding: we’ve never been normal!

Nope, it’s something to do with this damn computer. I’m saving my pennies for a new one, but until that day when the skies open and Steve Jobs descends on a cloud to hand me my new notebook, I have to try to use this bloody clunker. Windows 98, baby!

  3. Is it Win 98 with a 14.4 modem? I have a local friend who refuses to upgrade from that configuration.
Is this the problem which has put OGMD on hold?

It is indeed. But we’ll be back tomorrow, technical difficulties or no technical difficulties. And I just found some Anna Nicole crap that I have to get on the blog before anyone else at WordPress, not that I’m competitive.

I am doing an OGMD post soon, though. One thing at a time…by God, I want one of those new computers. I should stick a Paypal button up or something. $45 for a fully-loaded, Windows XP-running system all-in. And I ain’t got it. Grrrrr.

I believe that if you write “Frankenstein” in Kenjii characters, it’s pronounced “Samsung E900″

Which would be really interesting, no doubt, if I’d posted that comment in the right place. @#$%

This one makes sence “One’s first step in wisdom is to kuesstion everything – and one’s last is to come to terms with everything.”

I guess phonetically it does. Textually, well that’s another story.
