Given the transition of Faceless Day into a new face for raincoaster, this seems like a good time to introduce this video by Franco-Canuck Mylene Farmer. It’s the first song that made me aware of her, and it only did that because of the awesome power of this particular video, which just happens to be near-perfect.
Sorry, my French is a bit rusty, but I think you get the gist.

She really likes bugs, doesn’t she?

Yes. It’s something redheads seem to have in common. Although nobody is sure she’s a NATURAL redhead!

The words of the song are amazing. But the video is incredibly deep and complex and full of symbolism.

Can you translate? The forum that used to be so good at that has gone private, so I can’t steal from them anymore, alas.
I’ve always loved her lyrics, and of course the videos are amazing. She’s an artist with very high standards. Have you seen “California?” Gorgeous: Abel Ferrara directed.
