I’ve been meaning to steal this from Samaha for months now. It’s a gorgeous song, a lament for the victims of Srebrenica and Potocari, and is performed by Alma Ferovic.

I’m totally psyched; this is SO me.
The immune system has many distinct parts that perform their own functions. They each sort of have a unique personality.
Are you a member of the body’s defence system? Do you have what it takes? Which one are you? After a few questions, you could be a certified body cell!

Congratulations on becoming a member of the wonderful disease fighting team! Whether you are making antigens or cleaning up afterwards, you perform an important part in a defence and your personality is important to society!
Also: if only I knew how to make these damn Myspace quizzes work. What’s up with this HTML?
We’re coming out of the closet and there’s nothing you can do to stop us.
Yes, overall-wearers of the world, stand proudly, shoulder to denim-suspender-clad shoulder and tell the world, “You made us look at your bloody Crocs, for god’s sake, so suck it!”
Vote and support the movement on Daddy Likey (via the Manolo). First we take back the overalls, then we emancipate the backpacks (but definitely not together, nor with cardigans or jackets; do you have any idea how long it would take you to pee in that rig?)!

UPDATE: okay, a few details…
We’ve had a thunderstorm this afternoon, which we get maybe once every two-three years. And it’s raining now, just tiny drops, but two minutes ago it was FLAKES, for maybe a couple of minutes (that I noticed, I mean, Lotusland cliches aside, I don’t spend ALL my time looking out the window. I spend most of it looking at Fark). Wait, it’s snow again, or slush. This is bizarre. And the sun is shining.
Hail Cthulhu, smoke ’em if you got ’em! The end times are upon us and all of the Lower Mainland is consumed by the question “will there be enough for Cypress to open?”
