This works for me. In fact, I think I’ll go out and get myself some of this for breakfast. By the time the Ovaltine opens I’ll have been up for four hours and done three blog posts. I’ll have earned it!
You Are Mac and Cheese |
|
And nothing is more nourishing than a big warm plate of carbs. Taking risks takes a toll on you, and you prefer your comfort food to be old fashioned. You’re the type of person who could eat the same meal every night, especially when life is hard. |

Im mac and cheese girl, myself. Mmmm
My ultimate comfort food is roast chicken. Fill it up with lots of lemons, crushed garlic, a few sticks of rosemary, lots of salt and pepper on the skin, toss it in the oven with a bunch of potatoes to roast. MMM!
It takes a little longer than Mac and Cheese, but smells it fills the house with are so nice and comfy!
Thanks for the question, raincoaster!
Oooh, that sounds good.
Mac and Cheese – to us across the pond that must be macaroni cheese, yummy! but can someone kindly cook it for me….?!
I’m Mac & Cheese too … what a surprise!
Melissa, to us in Canada it means only one thing: KD. Otherwise known as Kraft Dinner. When you slice wieners into it and add ketchup, you have the food most of Canada grew up on.
Ho ho. I got Chocolate…mmmm. No surprise there I guess
Ah, a renegade!
I didn’t feel depressed and in need of ‘comfort food’ until I answered this quiz. Comfort food means that you don’t have to enjoy yourself, preparing food I guess ?

I’m a Mac & Cheese too! I hate that food though. Ewh.
Toasted peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich. Shameful, I know.
Ah, an Elviswich! Sounds tasty.
I’m Meatloaf – hey, one outa three ain’t bad – – –
You do look relatively Meatloaffian, from certain angles.
Aerchie is definitely a bat out of heck. I’m asparagus.
Asparagus? Really, that’s an available option?
I turned out to be apple pie. I’m not even all that fond of apple pie so I retook the quiz, changed one answer, and got potato chips. Much more me, I feel.
Metro– I didn’t think we needed to take the quiz to answer, so I picked asparagus. It makes me laugh.
Metro is a closet Yank. I always knew it.

Does a bottle of scotch count? cheese n onion baked crisps? No? Ok then I guess it has to be sticky toffee pudding from M&s with thick custard
You Are Chocolate
When you’re stressed out, you crave intense pleasure.
And you’re willing to skip a proper meal and proceed directly to the food you like best.
You find solace in hedonism and luxury. You tend to turn your nose up at most traditional comfort foods.
Somewhat surprisingly, trying a new food (especially a new type of chocolate) can be the most comforting thing for you.
What Comfort Food Are You?
I almost fumbled on question number four.
Pssst. Mac and Cheese! How bourgeois!
Remind me, which was number four?
Not at all. The restaurant Graydon Carter owns in NYC sells Mac and Cheese for $50 with truffle oil.
#4 – addiction.
I like Graydon Carter. But $50 for Mac and Cheese! I see your point though.
Truffle oil!
This site sells 8 oz. of truffle oil for $25.75:

This equates to $412.00 per gallon! That’s 13 times more per gallon than tiki oil! Where is the outrage?!
