i saw that movie in the theatre on its first run. on that day “batman” and “robin” made a special guest appearance atop the theatre roof and threw down candy to the eager children (of which i was one) below. i was 5 or 6 as i recall.
Cooooooool! That must have been AWESOME! I spent a half-hour cruising YouTube last night, looking for that damn bomb disposal scene, and it drove me even nutser than I already was, as perhaps you can tell.
Great movie, though. Makes an awesome double bill with Buckaroo Banzai!
