quiz: the five factors value quiz

I’m really ambivalent about this one. Loyalty is one of my highest values, but the way the questions were written, you have a choice between offending someone and being truthful and being truthful is considered disloyal, which intelligent and sophisticated people know is not the case. And by the time you’re out of diapers you really should have developed the knack of telling the truth in a way that is not offensive.

Unless of course you wish to be offensive, and if that is what you wish to do you may be interested in private lessons with me.

In any case, FWIW, here is the quiz. I think the corset one is a lot more accurate, but hey, that’s just me. And if you disagree with me, you’re probably a sprung-stay, industrial beige elastic, pointy-boob Eisenhower longline bra, so there.

Your Values Profile

Loyalty:

You don’t really value loyalty.

In your opinion, friendship should be earned.

If you don’t agree with someone, it doesn’t matter how close you are.

You’ll let them (and everyone else know) exactly what you think.

Honesty:

You value honesty a fair amount.

You’re honest when you can be, but you aren’t a stickler for it.

If a little white lie will make a situation more comfortable, you’ll go for it.

In the end, you mostly care about “situational integrity.”

Generosity:

You value generosity highly.

So much so that you often put your own needs last.

There’s nothing wrong with having a caring heart…

But you may want to rethink your “open wallet” policy.

Humility:

You don’t really value humility.

You don’t have much to be humble about!

And you might as well promote yourself, because no one else will.

You’re a pretty special person, and you let everyone know it.

Tolerance:

You value tolerance highly.

Not only do you enjoy the company of those very different from you…

You do all that you can to seek it out interesting and unique friends.

You think there are many truths in life, and you’re open to many of them.
