Wasn’t HPL fairly fond of his work? Inspired by it, even. Well, in this respect he wouldn’t be alone.
He was indeed fond of it, but my problem is I’ve got HPL sentence structure embedded in my brain, not Poe’s now. I even know Derleth better than Poe, which is a shame.
