Awesome video (with sound!) as BC Place Stadium collapses in a windstorm. The stadium is 23 years old, the roof was warranteed for 25 years. Got to dash, more on this later. Meanwhile, click here and here for more from the CBC.

YIKES! We have one of them big tent things in Perth – we don’t get wet snow luckily.

Yeah, the worst of it is that it just kept raining. Been raining ever since it happened, so what they’ve got is a huge water hammock. Apparently it’s still under warranty for another two years, though, so it’s covered in at least one sense.
The video was taken from Pivotal, which is a tech company right across the street from there. Perfect view, as you can imagine. What I loved about the tv coverage was that everyone they interviewed had a piece of the roof. “Look! I got a souvenir!” They were pumped!
I played it again and again but nothing happened. This was like some Waiting for Godot sh*t.
