CSI Miami: snappy lines and sunglasses

Video: David Caruso works the one-liners and specs. And he works them like they’ve never been worked before.

What a facial tic is to Robert DeNiro, what a cane was to Charlie Chaplin, what breasts were to Anna Nicole Smith, sunglasses are to David Caruso. In uniting his limitless repetoire of placement and removal with his unmatched ability to deliver the cutting and dramatic one-liner, this video has perfectly showcased the entire range of Caruso‘s talent in less than four minutes.

  1. Thanks, that was hilarious!

And yeah, I’ve never watched any CSI, considering them all to be ripoffs of Canada’s groundbreaking DaVinci’s Inquest. Seriously, if you can get this series, do. Don’t question, don’t hesistate; it’s some of the best television ever made. And the CSI series is a deliberate ripoff of it. Ian Tracey should be an international star (also, he’s a sweet, funny, intelligent guy whose only flaw is that he smokes; why the fuck didn’t I phone him when he gave me his number? Oh yeah, because I’m stupid).

  2. Hi Raincoaster.

I’ve recently started a T.V. blog and the latest post is a short laugh on Horatio.

Is there a proverb somewhere that says ‘Sunglasses maketh man?’ Mabye not!

I love CSI Miami, I try to guess his one liners. Howl? Loudly, very loudly.

By the way, I’m from Scotland. But born in N.Ireland, grew up in London.

    All the best to you.

    Eddie.
