[i am a little worried there is no squid in it though do you have a fever?]

  4. Posted May 11, 2008 at 4:39 pm | Permalink

Why do you think the horse is running? The squid is implied . . .

How dense am I? I did not even snap to that.

You’re not dense. Light doesn’t bend around you; it shimmers and dances in a halo of diffuse brightness – oh, wait, the dog musta licked my glasses . . .

It’s such a gorgeous picture that reminds me of my mare that I teared up. Thanks for stealing it and posting it. :)

That’s a beautiful image! Around these parts, we’re getting geared up for the Preakness; which is one huge party-fest. But I’ve always had a soft spot for photos of horses!

I’m glad you like it. This reminds me of a gorgeous oil painting, probably by one of those florid Frenchmen of the Eighteenth Century.

Steve, you’re in Preaknesstown? Get thee over to TheAspiringHorseplayer immediately! He needs a spy on the ground.

And yes, the Squid is implied. I’ve been neglecting my squid lately, haven’t I?

Horses aren’t very smart, most of them, but they’re very loyal.

I’ve been at this blog for two years and three months. Things take awhile to grow, don’t sweat it.

Really? How cool. It’s very painterly to begin with, so I’m sure it turned out really well.
