I know, I know: two quizzes in a row! But this is so me and so flattering to me that I’ve got to post it THIS INSTANT. Because a double Bombay Sapphire Martini, 6:1 with Noilly Prat and a twist of lime, waits for no blog.
You Are A Martini |
![]() You are the kind of drinker who appreciates a nice hard drink. And for you, only quality alcohol. You don’t waste your time on the cheap stuff. Obviously, you’re usually found with a martini in your hand. But sometimes you mix it up with a gin and tonic. And you’d never, ever consider one of those flavored martinis. They’re hardly a drink! |

and coincidentally, there goes the last of the Bombay Sapphire. *waves goodbye wistfully* and thinks *that’ll teach me to binge out on Day One, dammit!*
Hmmm … I’m a martini too. Would have to be a vodka one though – haven’t been able to even smell gin without feeling slightly nauseous ever since an unfortunate incident with lemon gin when I was 14.
Eek! I wouldn’t advertise that in Britain raincoaster. Here a ‘Martini’ means a girl who’d take it anytime, any place and anywhere.
That pesky cultural divide!
I understand that in Oz, Durex is sellotape. The ultimate barrier to those sticky situations – a night in A&E.
Wow, I never heard that before. But may I direct you to my post on the Bloggies?
I’m a martini, too. What’s your preference?
Gin or vodka – I go either way :)-
You can count on me
Thanks, Philipa. I appreciate it. Your Nutrigrain bar is in the mail.
Stiletto Girl, my preference is gin: Bombay Sapphire to be precise, although Plymouth is also very nice. I’ve been scouring the world (okay, just North America and the UK) for a bottle of the now-discontinued Malacca gin from Tanqueray, but it seems that while it wasn’t popular, every bottle they produced has been drunk. Man, somebody shoulda told Greenpeace it was endangered!
Nutrigrain bar?!! All that effort for a nutrigrain bar?!! I was hoping for some naked muscle – entrecote steak or chateau briand? Oh ok just wipe it’s arse, skin it and send it over – I like ’em well hung.
PS: can you tell I’m cooking dinner? Needless to say it wasn’t steak but it turned out to smell past it’s sell by date. No beef for me then.
Raincoaster, can you cook chinese?? (I don’t mean warm up last nights takeaway)
PPS: I’ve never had a Martini. I usually have an old fashioned on the rocks.
You didn’t see the commercial. Follow the link on the main Bloggie post here. Our North American Nutrigrain bars are something else!
I can of course cook Chinese. I live in Chinatown and don’t have a car; I can’t get any other kind of groceries!
