1. And just where in hell are Engels, Zinoviev, Kamenev and Trotsky? Now THEY’RE the life of the party!

2. Passed out, of course. Either that or upstairs misbehaving in one of the bedrooms with unibrowed Spaniards.

3. Point of note: Trotsky was not killed with a pickaxe – it was an ice axe. I won a case of beer debating that point in 1987, and damned little else.

4. I didn’t hear ice axe: I heard ice pick. I thought Basic Instinct was based on Trotsky, although I wasn’t too happy with casting Michael Douglas in the part.

5. Threadless makes the best t-shirts. I really should buy shirts from them.

6. I would totally buy this. The only way to make it even better is to print it out and iron it onto a fez with a gold tassel.
