This is what a lunar eclipse looks like when viewed from the moon: it looks like a solar eclipse, which it is, proving once again that things are relative.
What interests me is the apparent miles-high towers visible in South America and Asia, on the rim of the world. Is this something we haven’t been told about yet? Hmmm, must be off to Cryptome and check out Unidentified Miles-High Buildings. Or would it be “Kilometers-High?”

I was wondering about those myself. Oh, and now I’ve got Pink Floyd going through my head, where it is ignominiously thrashing it out with a jingle from a fabric softener commercial.
Why is it only *music* that gets stuck in our heads, and not spoken words, doorbells, ringtones, or anything else?
Actually, I have a friend whose ringtone is crickets and every time she goes to the country she almost goes insane from thinking her phone is ringing. I think it’s hilarious: nature’s revenge against those who would take a cheap reproduction for granted.
That will teach me not to check NASA for a couple’o days! That is one great image.
