Bad, bad clone
I’ll see you all after WordPress has fixed this latest “upgrade” which has prevented people from posting for three days. I suppose I won’t hold my breath to see when they fix the error that keep substituting Div tags for P tags when you start a post with a centered image…but what the hell, while I’m praying I’ll just throw that in there.
Good thing I have a couple of uncracked paperbacks lying around waiting for me. Life is very boring without blogging.

  1. Yikes – Is this a .org or a .com problem? I had a problem on Saturday for several hours but it seems to be OK now.

I agree with you about the “div” tags – they are so annoying!

  2. This is a .com problem. Check the forum; nothing but “I can’t post” and “Post has vanished” and “My Edits Disappear” for three days. There was a post yesterday from Mark saying the problem is solved, but the people in the forum say otherwise. I’m personally not taking the chance. I’m going to wait it out till I know the full staff has been at work for several hours, so I’ll see you in about 14 hours. Totally not worth taking a chance on.

Not to mention that I’ve been online so much lately I had to get a massage to stop the burning in my shoulder. Who thought it was a good idea to design “ergonomic” keyboards that extend so far to the right that the mouse arm is practically straight out from the shoulder? Brilliant. I want to meet that designer when I still have teh bloody broken bottle in my hand from dealing with Bill Gates.

  3. Strange, I’m not having any problems at the moment (six posts so far today :) ). I noticed that the problem I had on Saturday was mostly mentioned by fellow Aussies. Could your problem be a Canadian or Nord Amerikan one? Do WP have different servers for different parts of the world?

  4. I’m going to try to get a post up tonight. I did a post on my test blog yesterday and it had a problem, so I waited it out.

Philipa, I adore Colbert. Unfortunately, Comedy Central has a bad habit of taking down his show when it pops up on YouTube, so enjoy it while it lasts.
