Post a graphic on your site with this handy code snippet (and thanks to Hummingbird604 for help with the very fiddly code):

If it doesn’t work, check your quotation marks. They have a tendency to go haywire when you paste things into your widgets.
we donated mine to the women’s shelter as an emergency phone for women. as long as the phone can carry a charge, if they dial 911, the carrier has to let the call through to the emergency service. i’m glad that a woman, who wouldn’t otherwise have wireless access to the police will have it because i wanted a flip phone (can we say star trek fan?) but the other phone was perfectly serviceable still.
Yep, our phones do that as well. Not all our participants know that, though; one woman was beaten up when she was interviewing someone in a bar, because two guys thought she was trying to film them. If she’d known about the 911 thing, she could have had them arrested.
(Coming here from Netchick’s site, who says Hello!) What an awesome idea! I have a really old cell. Not sure it’s good any more. But if someone can use it, I’d happily donate it, assuming it is still sitting on the shelf.
By all means. Phones that cannot be reused will be donated to Freegeek for recycling, so it’s all good. Thanks so much for your support!
Awesome cause, and good for you for spreading out the word!
Hi RC, I just came across this link in my email, I missed the season but I still have a beautiful phone to donate. I can still drop it off at Carnegie right? Anytime?
Not at Carnegie, but you can drop it off at Raincity Studios, above Chill Winston on Maple Tree Square. We’d really appreciate it.
What’s funny is, we’ve had some very high-end phone donations, but not ONE iPhone. I think it’s a religion.
