I really can’t say why (especially after this many festive Martinis) but this picture resonates with me and reminds me of Cartier Bresson’s Decisive Moment, although there is nothing decisive about this whatsoever, which is in and of itself in fact and in actuality very, very West Coast indeed.

It’s snowing in Calgary!
Great pic. Wishing you a very merry Christmas, Raincoaster. Hope you have fun and a very happy yule.

Merry Christmas, Philipa!
Raul, I think it’s snowing EVERYWHERE! Tris said it might be the first uniformly White Christmas throughout Canada in 40 years.
Buncha snow wimps … looks like Winnipeg around Halloween.
(but seriously – really great pic!)
Ha, I like snow. It’s clean, it’s pretty, you can ski and snowshoe on it. Or throw it at people!
what a great shot! love azahar’s comment. those northerners are so elitist about their snowfall
evocative
Very pretty picture. The only snow we see around here comes on shaved ice cones and in snowglobes.
From what I’ve read, it’s far snowier in Vancouver. Seattle just whines about it.
Merry Christmas, rain!
Thanks, yes, Vancouver has more snow. And Penticton, where I am now, has even more. A deer just walked through the front yard.
Merry Christmas to everyone!
Very nice shot
Here in Montreal we already did have all fo this season : ice, iced rain, snow …. :)
