Just ask JK Rowling.
“One character got a reprieve, but I have to say
two die that I did not intend to die.”
“They don’t target extras do they? They go for the main characters. Well I do.” In a phrase sure to be closely analysed by the legions of visitors to Harry Potter fansites that deconstruct the author’s every word, she said she empathised with Agatha Christie, who killed off her detective Hercule Poirot so that other writers would not be able to continue his stories after her death.
“I’ve never been tempted to kill him [Harry] off before the end of book seven, because I always planned seven books and that’s where I want to go,” she said.
“I can completely understand, however, the mentality of an author who thinks ‘Well, I’m going to kill them off because that means there can be no non-author-written sequels … so it will end with me, and after I’m dead and gone they won’t be able to bring back the character‘.”
The Guardian has got themselves quite a scoop with that one. Legions of Hermiowanabees will be crying into their butterbeer tonight.
And a few Rons and Dracos as well.

two die that I did not intend to die.”
Calling all Harry Potter fans around the world.
JK Rowling was interviewed yesterday on a UK TV show about her plans for the seventh Harry Potter book.
She announced on ‘Richard and Judy’ that “two die — a price has to be paid”

The BBC wants callers for a discussion programme — the topic is: who should die?
Does Ron get it in the neck as he walks up the aisle to wed Hermione?
Do Snape and Voldemort wrestle to the death and fall into a nasty cauldron of poison?
Or does Harry himself lose his powers, end up as a muggle to slowly die of old-age in a care home near Norwich?
The BBC World Service show ‘World Have Your Say’ is a global discussion programme. You can check out our website here:

I can’t believe the BBC is trawling for my readers. The least they can do is link to this blog…are you reading this, people???
My bet is that Snape dies of autoerotic asphyxiation in the potions locker after ingesting amyl nitrate and fatally sodomizing Malfoy with a Coke bottle after he got the idea from reading a book on Fatty Arbuckle’s downfall.
But that’s just my guess.
Her lawyers are gonna be all OVER you tomorrow.
For what? Copyright infringement? Releasing the ending early? Making fun of Alan Rickman? Impuning Coke’s reputation?
Got cider?

Jordan, I don’t normally edit comments, but I’m editing your email out because you shouldn’t give it out to strangers. Trust me, there are some very dangerous people out there. Give your email out to your friends. Make friends online, but get to know them before you give out your email; it is just not safe. I had a stalker, and I know.
ok thanyou 4 telling me i dont want a stalker or something
You’re welcome. Just keep it private to your friends. If you like Harry Potter you’ll find lots of sites where you can discuss him with other kids who are also interested. That’s much safer than posting it out there, although I know you’re just trying to be friendly.
mad thanz i would really love that
