4. Thanks, it’s from the movie Dogma. Got them in all kinds of trouble with the Catholic Church, to the point where they were posting “Hate Letter of the Week” on their website.

5. I haven’t watched Dogma but if it riled the Catholic I would like to see why. So I’ll watch it soon. Did you find it to be a good movie?

6. I did find it enjoyable. The Damon/Affleck chemistry is great to watch. I also happened to view the movie in the company of a Catholic theologian, and she ADORED IT! At one point they’re making reference to a rather obscure theological ruling, and she literally leapt out of her chair yelling “I knew that was trouble! I knew it! I knew as soon as I read it that that was trouble! That stupid ….[can’t remember which Papal Bull it was]”

   Theologically, apparently it’s sound. And it has Alan Rickman as the voice of God: what more could you want?

7. But, Alan Rickman is God, isn’t he?
   I attended a Cursillo (Christian retreat, sort-of) course with Buddy Christ at the back table. The organizer is a fun sort. Each table group “community” had the name of a role model – including Mahatma Gandhi. Yes, this is a Christian retreat. Michael has interesting ideas.
