Dear me Miss Coaster are you really a U2 ite . An overblown pop group with credibility to sell out in my humble . When Punk was dying years ago the wet versions of it that started to appear came in for special loathing and U2 was one of them. They do make a good entry into American Psycho so can`t be all bad I suppose.

Post punk stands or falls on its own merits, as does the music of U2. Anyone who’d describe their signature sound as “pop” is already either over or under medicated to a criminal extent, and so can be dismissed.

U2 are Pop and always have been . I like Pop music actually I just find this example less than it seems to be I think they are the world`s biggest band so I`m obviously in a minority
