He’s back.
What do you want the world to remember?
On the 5th of November you are invited to post a video about what encompasses you as a person, what inspires you, what brings you hope, and most importantly those little things that you may have forgotten.
You may choose any topic, any idea, any person, event or place that you feel people need reminding of. You can use any style and any method (talking, writing, photos, metaphor) to get your message of remembrance across.
The aim of this project is to gather together people from all over the world on one unique day to celebrate the important things that we forget, and to remind each other of what we need to keep ideas alive.
Get ready, be creative – but please don’t post until the 5th November.
Remember, remember
Chin up,
MadV
the little things I may have forgotton? I’m sorry but if I posted a video of me burning an effigy of Peter I may just get arrested. I’ll leave the effigy burning to the rest of the population – burning the image of a failed political activist they’ve never met. Actually I think Guido Fawkes’ blog very effective. Sausage roll and sparkler anyone?
What ideas to keep alive? Raincoaster and myself are a deserving cause, our creativity and sparkle being crushed under the grinding wheels of poverty – give us money!
Or at least beer and chocolate.
(Hmn, little things I may have forgotton – little)
I’ve got it – the little things we want to remember – it’s only three letters but is the name of a big man with a great sense of humour: Mac.
Miss you Mac.
Funny, I’m drinking one of Mme. Metro’s beers as we speak. And she gave me some chocolate earlier (rainforest, fairly-traded dark chocolate).
You were offline when I got a job. Not paid till tomorrow, but I’m getting paid to blog now at Ayyyy and TeenyManolo now. God help the children.
Most people will probably be burning an effigy of George W. Bush. I sent this vid to Guido, now that he’s doing GuyTV and all.
I don’t do videos, but if I did I’d enter this challenge. There are too many things forgotten that should not be, too many things remembered which should be resolved and forgotten.
Mac is sorely missed. I was re-reading an old thread and there he was, and my GOD did I suddenly feel the vast dimensions of the vacuum he left in his wake. He was a gentleman and a scholar and a man of far greater magnitude than he would ever have claimed, himself.
“too many things remembered which should be resolved and forgotten.” – indeed.
And that happened to me yesterday too – I was doing some disk housekeeping and clicked on a link and there he was. It’s good to remember him, ditto.
Yes it was very good news to suddenly see MadV again. I loved the One World campaign he did. And looking forward to this, his newest project.

Welcome to the blog, Biyang!
Thanks :-)

Jesus Christ. My shopping list is a little personal, Rain.
Then do an all-image slideshow. Sure to be popular!
