Operation Global Media Domination: the UK situation

TIA Yay!I am not quite sure how this came to pass, but according to Wikio I am now the 300th most powerful blog in the UK.

Pity I’m not IN the UK.

Maybe I should send flowers to Boriswatch? Important jobs for all my bloggy Limey friends!

  1. No link to me?!

That’s pretty good though! And I remember seeing the name raincoaster on the forums on Boris’ site and was wondering if that was you.

  2. That is indeed me. I am sitting by the email anxiously awaiting my summons to London for a cushy multi-million-pound contract.

I shall put the link in now. My apologies: I thought you’d left for the Republic of Tumblr.

  4. Well, I do tumble, tumblr, do tumbling, whatever you want to call it, but it’s just laziness on my behalf!

So is it worrying that I only ever been to two other blogs on that list before?

  5. Your Grace

    “Not IN the UK”

    err … yes, mmm, but

THAT may not always be the Case, especially if the Lady ApilihP can wield her influence with her newly well-placed Turkish-Descendant – Melissa is going to be very busy now and he is going to need someone of World-Class stature to help Melissa with his Blogge

    Yr Grace’s obedient servant etc

  6. G Eagle, don’t tease me. I’ll believe that when I get the email from Melissa and the cheque from Boris. But I certainly do hope he brings Melissa back for a bigger role.

catwoman, I don’t know why they call it the Higgs particle; they meant to call it the ‘raincoaster’ particle, obviously, but must have gotten high on ether or whatever it is that scientists do.

  7. Hi there!
This is Lisa over Wikio, I was wondering if you would be interested in the badge on raincoaster. Just let me know and I send you the html code.
    Have a great day! Cheers
    Lisa

  8. Ok I’ve checked and seeing as you’re not in the UK, I guess we’ll have to shift you over to the US rankings if that’s not a problem (although you’re not American either as I understand it).

Still, seeing as you are so well appreciated this side of the Atlantic (by the London mayor, no less) could I ask you to blog roll our UK site?

  9. As you fall on the Canadian side of the Atlantic, unlike That Canadian Girl who chose to take shelter upon our fair Ilse, your site would have to be on our Canadian ranking, which sadly does not exist.

But seeing as you’re so well received by the Bat-Shit Insane Brits ;) would you be interested in a Wikio RSS subscription button for Raincoaster?

  10. Sure. I’m all about marketing to the batshit insane. What do I have to do for that?

Can I not be the sole, and thus, definitive, blog in your Canadian ranking? Awwww. My normal preference is for a dictatorship.
