I suspect BoJo‘s not the only Oxford grad to have his portrait done Andy Warhol-style, but he’s probably the only one who had it done in this pose:

And, as I said on Guido‘s blog, it appears that he has an extra finger on his right hand. I see now one source of his evergreen popularity. Or is that six of them?
Completely OT

Can’t wait for it to load. I love Dennis Leary. Ever seen The Ref? Best black humour Christmas movie ever.
My pleasure, ma’am,
No, haven’t seen it but will do.
I had to watch the clip twice just to hear the words through the laughter and see it all through the tears.

“Howdaya like that, ‘Braveheart?'” Hilarious! I posted his Asshole song here not long ago, if memory serves, or maybe I just used it in a comment on Cold Desert. If I haven’t posted it, I’ll do so.
I think the posters quite flattering, you can’t tell he’s gone the far side of 40 anymore.
I dunno. I don’t think it has that chubby “Boris of the Shire” charm. He looks like he’s got a head wound. Also, there’s a resemblance to Alistair Cooke, which is NOT a look to be shooting for.
Alistair Cooke? Y’mean it looks as though someone’s ripped out his bones and replaced them with PVC pipe?
Yes, you can tell from the expression on his face.
Congratulations on being the first in this thread to “go there.” Cooke would be so very proud.
Go where? I really liked Alistair Cooke. His “America” was on the lowest shelf of my parents bookcase at a time when that was all I could reach. I was greatly saddened to hear of the desecration of his corpse.
Though he would, I’m sure, not mind us speaking of it here.
What makes you so sure? He felt like a sellout for being on tv; imagine how he’d feel for being most famous for being a desecrated corpse.
