I Used to Want to Change The World, but Now All I Want is the Weekend Off

Audre Lorde on self-preservation

Audre Lorde on self-preservation

I’ve been a Momo fan for years, and just rediscovered him on YouTube. Want a motivational coach who’s a literal rock star as well as a pretty insightful dude? Then you want Momo. Here’s his advice for people whose work week grinds them down so they don’t have the energy to change the world on their time off.

Now I don’t feel so bad about never taking the weekend off.

  1. Hi Lorrie , Aunt Dinny here, I hear you are not looking forward to being with us and listen to our negativity, bigotry, it disturbs me to hear this when we have gone full circle to show you love. If I am a bigot , it’s because I happen to have worked very hard all my life and paid taxes and to see these inept individuals throwing away what we have worked for is not bigoted it’s called proud Canadian not liking our country going down the tubes…
There has been a few times you mentioned you are going back to Vancouver, you never got any flack from me, I feel at 54 yrs old you are more than capable of making a decision. I don’t ask you where I should be, I will not be the one to tell you where to live. Nor have I ever.
I was happy to know you are back and we were all willing to support you in any endeavour and or direction you chose to go in.

I will say if we are that dispicable I wouldn’t like us either.

    Hope this helps to clarify.
