2. No, but it might be what Tony Blair and GW Bush did. I mean, somebody’s gotta come up with these things.

   And isn’t it neat how the big, newsworthy plots all have New! Shiny! James! Bond! Technology! Because if it were just “we’re gonna use plastique again” it wouldn’t make half the headlines it has.

3. Plastic explosive is detectable not least by sniffer dogs.

4. Do they generally have sniffer dogs go over the passengers before they board? They certainly don’t do that in North America. Just the checked luggage.

   And that’s not really the point.
