I think the trouble might be that you’re writing to New Yorkers and you really haven’t done anything terribly rude or offensive. Forgive the stereotyping, but what you think is offensive may not even come close for them. Perhaps?

Using their own site to demand credit for stuff they put on their site which they stole from you is pretty much a hanging crime in the blogosphere, even if you’re right. I can only assume they ran out of Red Bull today.
