another reason to hate Ford

Dubya Plugs in car

The CEO of the Ford Motor Company forcibly prevented George W. Bush from blowing himself up last week.

It seems that plugging a live electrical cord into a hydrogen tank is not the wisest course of action, although why we should expect wise courses of action from the man who makes Gerald Ford look intellectual and Donald Duck look diplomatic is beyond me.

Also, quote of the day!

“I just thought, ‘Oh my goodness!’ So, I started walking faster, and the President walked faster and he got to the cord before I did. I violated all the protocols. I touched the President. I grabbed his arm and I moved him up to the front,” Mulally said. “I wanted the president to make sure he plugged into the electricity, not into the hydrogen This is all off the record, right?”

  3. Yeop. Seriously dude, could you not have just shut up and hit the deck like any right-thinking American???

Also, why is this not one of WordPress’s top 10 posts? EH? Goddam vested interests!

  4. Would he actually have blown it up? Or would he yet again have been simply trying to stick something where it was not wanted?

  5. Well you are not supposed to touch the president, why didn’t the secret service guys blast him? Clearly they were slacking. Pity.

  6. Go fuck yourself, Bush hating assholes. Bush graduated from Harvard and Yale, AND flew jets in the National Guard, as well as ran as governor in Texas, defeating the incumbent TWICE, for eight years. Not to mention, he has a very successful oil portfolio. What the fuck have you dipshits done, besides blog and jack off at the same time?

You Bush haters have one thing in common – you can’t stand someone like him who sticks to his principles, because all you faggot atheist liberals know how to do is lie for power, day in and day out. The only thing he’s done wrong so far is to not turn the Middle East into the parking lot it deserves.

  7. Ah, DRM4GOD, where to begin?

I type with both hands, thank you.

Bush flew jets in a National Guard unit that he probably knew wasn’t going anywhere outside the continental U.S. because they were obsolete and being phased out.

Winning the Texas governorship twice? Well, Molly Ivins alone has detailed what an ‘interesting’ and equal-opportunity political environment Texas can be. And even being dead, Ivins’ factual credibility stands head, shoulders and skyscraper above that of Mr. Bush’s most fervent supporters.

Hahvahd and Yale grads have presided over their share of debacles too numerous to detail here, so I wouldn’t exactly cite their degrees as an automatic selling point.

Bush’s principles are about as solid and formed as a jello shooter that sat out overnight . As big a scumbag as Karl Rove is, at least his principles – or lack thereof – are identifiable and consistent.

As for his oil portfolio, I think there’s been enough detailed in print about Harken Energy’s magic ability to generate revenue for Bush without being profitable itself.

Regarding parking lots – Bush allowed his advisors to drag him into a military campaign where he didn’t have enough troops to even act as parking lot attendants even if he had managed to level the country.

And if I knew how to lie for power, I’d be a member of the current administration’s cabinet. Guess that alone shoots a huge hole in the logic of your premise right there, eh?

  8. If he were both rational and intelligent, he’d have realized that giving me his email was a dumb thing to do. See what I did with it? He didn’t put it in that comment.

  9. You crack me up. There is no point takling to people like that though. They are either just trolling for site hits or really believe what they are saying which is even more distatsteful.

  10. @FFE–you saw logic in his premise? I just figured the clozapine had worn off.

I think the fact that he arrived five months late to the party identifies him as the sort of person who’s most likely to still be supporting Bush.

Also, why does he appear to use the terms “faggot”, “atheist”, and “liberal” as though they were insults?

I can only claim two out of three, myself, but that ain’t bad.

@DrMcGoo: And what exactly have you done besides not blog, jack off, and spew hate on other peoples’ blogs?

  11. I was there at that Display and the power cord was being plugged into the correct port, that car was a hybrid Gas / Electric car. Why The Fuck would a Ford Exec give someone an electrical cord to use in a photo op for a hydrogen car?

Man your hate blinds you people…
Stop drinking the coolaid and start thinking for yourselves.

oh and for you people that think Bush was behind 911, he could not be that dumb to pull off the greatest conspiracy the world has ever seen.
