beaver shots: hairy robot beaver!

As you all know, we at the ol’ raincoaster blog pride ourselves on service journalism, particularly along the beaver lines, and this should service you right up. This incredible furry cyborg beaver is so hot it would make anyone feel inadequate. I mean, check it out:

She said “laptop.” Heh, heh. “External power supply” eh? Yeah, that’s probably just a coded expression for “secretly fucking the boss.” Like, if she talked him into buying Microsoft products.

Oh hey, I think we may have figured out who the manufacturer is. Like I said, this thing is intimidating! It would make anybody go micr…well, never mind.

Pictures and a 40-pic slideshow of the naked computerized beaver over the jump. Brace yourself; it’s hairy! Thanks to judyb12 for passing along this little gem.

Cheeky the Woodchuck

Yep, it is possible to act so heinously that even in the United States of Republicanism, your money’s no good. Stolen from the Wired blog. And what horrible course of action brought Mitnick to the point of being the posterboy for Internet Ostracism?

Just this. Check out the web addy. Indeed, Spring is the season for flamewars…but more on that later…or is that l8er? As for me, I’m dying to know the rest of Mitnick‘s email. Oh, no reason…

quiz: serial killer or programming language inventor?

Bill. Gates. Under. Arrest. And not for making crappy products either

The overlap is surprisingly small, given that the social skill set for each is identical.

Score: 8/10
Pretty good; it seems you know your JavaBeans from your fava beans,
your slashers from your Slashdotters.

Not too scruffy, considering they actually had two serial killers I hadn’t heard of in the lineup; back to CrimeLibrary for me! Need to tighten up my mad serial killer ID-ing skillz. Thanks to Timethief for the link…gee, she hangs out even weirder places than I do!

I actually frightened my father once…well, a few times, but this once was, we were sitting in his living room watching television and a commercial for some crime show came on. As pictures of each serial killer flashed onscreen, I said their names aloud, just before the announcer did. After twenty perfect hits my father turned to me and said, “I wish you wouldn’t do that.”

photobucket in mourning?

Apparently Photobucket, the free image hosting site, has been so overcome by the death of (choose one)

[ ] Jean Baudrillard

[ ] Ernest Gallo

or

[ ] Captain America

that it has taken all pictures down and substituted tiny crosses of St. Andrew. Normal service will resume shortly…I hope…
