raincoaster: now with 10% more evil!

This site is certified 31% EVIL by the Gematriculator

This is a definite improvement over last time I ran the ol’ raincoaster blog through the Evilness Detector. Interestingly, the evilest phrase in the entire blog was:

if you must the email is downtowneastsidereporter at hotmail dot com but comments will get a quicker response time pages about raincoaster: the blog, the entity, the delusions of grandeur terror alert levels, multilingual edition war is not my language search: blog stats 257,034 hits the latest from the diseased brain of raincoaster would you watch saddam hussein die?

Ah, what a great way to start the New Year: with a raise!

would you watch Saddam Hussein die?

This got started in the comments section of another post, but it seems to me more than deserving of its own post; it is far more important than Saddam Hussein’s last words. I started to watch the Daniel Pearl video, then I stopped it and did not go on. But I have read all kinds of banned documents, including the manual of Afghani Jihad, and I think I would watch the Steve Irwin video if his family would allow it to be released, so why I draw the line here but not there, I am not really sure I know.

Here’s the debate so far:

Happy New Year from Vancouver

It’s been that kind of a year. Here’s to a better 2007!

The crowd down at the Heather. I told Sean not to have a sunken bar!

I resolve to go out no more than once a week, unless I can afford it (sorry Sean and all at the Heather). I resolve to get a nice, self-sufficient quantity of writing and editing clients. I resolve to make a deal for at least one book for an agency client this year. I resolve to work out so I can fit back into those damn jeans.

right here, right now: what does it mean to you?

All life takes place in the pure moment. The past is a story, the future a guess. Reality exists only on the razor’s edge of Right Now.

What is your life, right now?

Right Here, Right Now (Jesus Jones, 1991)
———————
A woman on the radio talks about revolution
when its already passed her by
but Bob Dylan didnt have this to sing about you
you know it feels good to be alive
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up from history
I saw the decade in, when it seemed
the world could change at the blink of an eye
And if anything
then theres your sign of the times
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now
I was alive and I waited waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up from history
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up from history
Right here, right now, there is no other place I want to be
Right here, right now, watching the world wake up

save time: New Year’s resolution generator

Eisenstadt, no longer hotlinked. Ooops, sorry. Blaming it on the Aussie sparkling white...Personally, I can’t really be bothered to make my own New Year’s resolutions. Maybe I have too much free-floating guilt that’s just waiting to team up with something more specific to get past my defences or something, but I’m not taking the chance. I’m using this New Year’s Resolution Generator from the Generator Blog to come up with a few quick, painless things. Apparently I am to stop kissing strangers and start watching less tv. Since I don’t kiss strangers (or even, mostly, anyone at all, sigh) or even have cable or use the rabbit ears, this looks to be far easier than setting one’s own goals. Highly recommended!

New Year’s Resolution Generator

Here is what I resolve for the coming year!

I will stop kissing strangers right now

Care to make another resolution?

I want to start something
I want to stop something
